As soon as you arrive in Allepay, check-in to the houseboat and begin your trip through the Punnamada River. This river is popularly known for conducting the Nehru Trophy Boat Race each year. Enjoy cruising through Punnamadakayal for a good while. The boat will pass through the SNDP Thod (Thod means canal) which will be the smallest canal of the trip. During cruise that will last for about one hour, you will get the opportunity to stop by at some of the places and also you can walk in the village to sight and experience the village life. At the end of the canal, the boat will stop so that you can have lunch. After that, the trip will begin again and you will be proceeding to Munnattumugam where three canals will join together making the place stand out.You will enjoy the boat cruise through Kainakari, which is a beautiful village with green paddy fields. You can visit the chavera church there. The boat will be making a cruise through Irrmbanam Thod which is also a very small canal. You will get to see both side paddy filed if you visit the vembanadu lake. The boat will pass through the R Block canal and will stop at the H Block for night Stay at 17:30 hours.
