Detailed Itinerary Day Wise

Day 1 : Arrived At Munnar

As soon as you arrive at the Railway Station or airport, you will be picked up and transferred to Munnar which is situated at a height of about 4420 feet above sea level. It is located at the convergence of three mountain streams and offers spectacular views of the craggy peaks, manicured tea plantations, picturesque towns and winding lanes.Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel and after having lunch, go on board with a half day sightseeing tour and cover places like the Echo Point which is famous for its Echo Phenomenon, Mattupetty Lake and Dam. In the evening, you will be free to indulge at leisure followed by having Dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2 : Munnar

After having breakfast, head to the Eravikulam National Park which is an abode of the famous Nilgiri Thar. Next, visit the Anamudi peak which is at a height of about 2695 meters above sea level and is located in the southern region of this park. In the afternoon, have lunch at the hotel spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3 : Thekkady

After breakfast, begin to drive towards Thekkady where you can enjoy a boat Safari in the Periyar Wild Life Sanctuary which is one of the most fascinating Wild Life Reserves in India. One of the best attractions of Periyar is the large herds of wild elephants that come down to the lakes edge to drive away their thirst. You will definitely enjoy boating in the Periyar Lake while watching the animals. In the evening, visit the Spice Market where you can pick up some fragrant spices or handcrafted jewelleries. Later, head to the hotel to have dinner followed by an overnight stay.

Day 4 : Alleppey

After having breakfast, begin to drive towards Alleppey which is known as the Venice of the East and has got the largest network of Canals.It is also considered to be a major centre for backwater cruises in Kerala.Upon arrival, check-in to the Houseboat and cruise around the backwater villages of Alleppey. You will love cruising through the small narrow canals, lakes and lagoons while partaking in traditional fishing, farming below sea level and much more. Later, head back to the hotel to have dinner followed by an overnight stay in the Houseboat.

Day 5 : Back Water Resort

After breakfast, check-out from the houseboat after which you will get transferred to a beautiful Backwater Resort. Upon arrival, check-in to the Resort to have some rest as after that, you can enjoy boating, fishing and sunset cruise in the evening.Later, enjoy dinner at the resort followed by an overnight stay.

Day 6 : Kovalam

After having breakfast, you will be transferred to the Kovalam beach and check-in to the hotel. In the afternoon, relax and enjoy the beauty of beach. Later, head back to the hotel to have dinner followed hy an overnight stay.

Day 7 : Day In Kovalam

After having a scrumptious breakfast, spend the full day in leisure at Kovalam.Later in the night, enjoy dinner followed by an overnight stay.

Day 8 : Departure

After having breakfast, get ready to depart to your onward destination, taking back some heart filling memories.You will be dropped at the Trivandrum Airport or Railway station.
