Kashi Art Gallery is situated on the Burgher Street near the Fort Kochi Beach. It is on the whole an Old Dutch house that was rehabilitated into something wonderful by Anoop Skaria and Dorrie Younger.
This exclusive art gallery had its grand opening in the year 1977 with an exhibition that was held by the talented artist CV Ramesh. This place has lately emerged as the favorite hangout spot of the younger generation and contemporary art lovers. The gallery has been host to some of the most sophisticated and contemporary art exhibitions by well-known artists namely, Zakir Hussain, Valsan Koorma, Anant Joshi, Sosa Joseph and NN Rimson.
Also, an incredible collection of the works of artists like Pradeep Naik, K.S Radhakrishnan and Christina Mamakos are put up on display here. Without a single doubt, the interiors of this art gallery are designed magnificently. Next to the art gallery is a small café that is celebrated for its mouth watering menu.The café is a matchless amalgamation of ancient and modern that offers a wide variety of eateries and beverages like pancakes, espresso coffee pots, pies, cakes, shakes and mocktails. An interesting thing to note is that they serve food in a very creative manner over huge colored platters with an artsy presentation.

It consists of beautiful garden and fashionable wooden tables that are speckled with contemporary artwork. The coffee they provide is made with organic ingredients and the succulent breakfasts and lunches are also outstanding which includes items like French toast, home-baked cakes and creative salads. Two of the most recommended dishes are sandwiches and their home-made cakes.
The Creative Director and Curator of this art gallery is Tanya Abraham who is a journalist, author and arts administrator. She dedicatedly works for national and international publications.
