Kerala is located on tropical Malabar coast of India. Which has a stretch of 600kms seashore with palm lined beaches and blue lagoon backwaters. The opposite border is Western ghat Mountains with lush green tea, coffee and spice plantations along with wildlife habitat.
1 DAY 01: KOCHI TO ATHIRAPPILLY
Arrival at Kochi airport. Journey to Athirappilly.
Athirappilly waterfalls, Kerala’s most famous and largest waterfall. Over 80 feet high, sight of the waters crashing onto the ground leaves visitors astounded by the sheer power and force of nature. Waterfall is famous not just for the view, but the endemic species of hornbills found in the surrounding dense forest.
Barely 5 km away is another magnificent waterfall, the Vazhachal fall. Rushing sounds of the water and the gorgeous view of the falls will give you a thrilling experience.
En route Vazhachal from Athirapilly is Charpa falls.in a series of seven steps gushing water from the mountain top reaches the road. It’s a fantastic view. Natural beauty surrounding the falls is exquisite.
Envisage butterflies fluttering around over the fresh water surrounded by the lush green forest in the background. Sounds pictorial. Thumboormuzhi Dam offers this and more. Garden houses 148 diverse species of butterflies. Flowers of different hues and fragrances fills the garden. Children can play in the park.

2 DAY 02: EXPLORE KOCHI
Fort Kochi, first European township in India. A walk through the streets of Fort Kochi is exciting. Beautiful beaches, enchanting architecture, antique shops, picturesque falls and lip smacking street food etc are the major attractions.
Chinese fishing nets are another attraction. You can see how fishermen operate it.
Maritime Museum depicts the history of IndianNavy. Antique pistols, Navy warships and aircraft carriers are displayed here.
Relics of Jewish life a Synagogue, Jew Street etc can be seen.
Evening can be joyous on the Fort Kochi beach.

3 DAY 03: CHERAI TO ALLEPPEY
Have a hearty breakfast and check out from the resort. Journey to Alleppey.
Houseboat check in at 12 noon. You will be received with a welcome drink. Cruise through the serene backwaters of Kerala. Have traditional South Indian meals in the houseboat as you enjoy the beauty of Alleppey . Houseboat will be anchored near the shore at 5:30 pm. Sleeping in a houseboat will be an entirely different experience.
4 DAY 04: ALLEPPEY TO MUNROE ISLAND AND VARKALA
Wake up to have a typical Kerala breakfast and cruise through the serene waters . See the morning life of the villages ashore. Check out at 9’o clock from the houseboat. Journey to Munroe Island and Varkala.
One of the most pictorial locales in Kerala, situated at where Ashtamudi lake and Kallada river merges. Cluster of 8 tiny islands in Ashtamudi Lake. A friendly village where you can see people engaged in coir retting, coir weaving, fishing, prawn breeding etc. Migratory birds such as Kingfishers, Woodpeckers, Egret, Bee-eater, Crow pheasant, Paddy birds etc are regular visitors of the island.

5 DAY 05: EXPLORE VARKALA

Anjengo Fort, sandwiched between sea and backwaters is a major landmark. Some ancient tombstones and a garden can also be witnessed in the fort premises. Fort was built in 1695 by British East India Company.
The cliffs have been declared a national geological monument by Geological Survey Of India.
Janardana Swami Temple, which is an important Vaishnavaite shrine in India and is often referred to as Dakshin Kasi. The temple is 2000 years old.

6 DAY 06 - VARKALA TO KOVALAM.

7 DAY 07 - KOVALAM TO POOVAR AND KANYAKUMARI
Have a delicious breakfast and journey to Poovar. Poovar 12 kms away from Kovalam Beach.is a stunningly beautiful locale. With its golden sands and swaying coconut palms it is a paradise for any tropical beach lover. The beach is clean, neat and well maintained.
From Poovar to the southern most tip of Indian sub continent. The place where Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal and Indian Ocean meets. Kanyakumari, “The Virgin Princess”.
Take a boat ride to Swami Vivekananda Memorial Rock. Swami Vivekananda is said to have attained enlightenment on the rock.
Thiruvalluvar statue is another attraction in Kanyakumari. Valluvar , tamil poet and philosopher . author of Thirukkural.

8 DAY 08 - KOVALAM TO TRIVANDRUM AIRPORT
