Thottada beach is the beautiful beach situated in Kannur district of Kerala. It is at Thottada which is 7 km from Kannur. The Thottada River that passes by here submerges in the sea near the beach. The 800 m long sand stretching is perfect for sun bathing. There’s also a dam which was built 30 years ago to keep sea water away from fresh water.
Various guest houses and hotels are available near the beach where guests can relax and stay in peace. They’ll get to enjoy the exquisite view of Arabian Sea. Stay till evening to capture the most amazing sunset or head towards Thottada village for the best experience.
